You will find our worship services to be in a style which we might call (for
lack of a better term,) “relaxed formality.” We desire to guard against a
casual worship approach that betrays a lack of reverence while also
avoiding a stiff formalism that stifles the release of joy and praise. We
encourage congregational involvement and purposely structure the
service to permit sharing of praises and prayers.

So often worship is viewed as a time when we come to church to GET
something... “What’s in it for me?” Here at IBC we consciously approach our
worship service differently. We don’t come to be entertained. We come to
GIVE...to give to God the gifts of adoration and praise.

We devote significant time to the study of God’s Word in our worship,
believing that God is greatly honored in this. In so doing, God’s people are
“thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

CHILDCARE
We have a clean, well-equipped, well-staffed nursery for children, infant to
two years for both services, and Sunday School classes for children ages
three years through eighth grade (second service only).
