ADULT
MINISTRIES
We believe that Christians of influence
are Christians who never stop learning and growing.
Spiritual growth flows out of three basic commit-ments:
(1) A commitment to the Word of God, (2) A commitment
to prayer, and (3) a commitment to fellowship with
other believers. We seek to bring all three of
these “growth basics” together
in our various adult ministry activities.
In addition to our regular Sunday worship,
there are numerous growth opportunities through
the Small Group Home Bible Study ministry. While
there are several groups that are co-ed and meet
on various evenings of the week, there are also
two studies that are for the women only, and
meet during the day with child-care provided. There
are studies just for the men, and a college & career
study that meets the needs of the singles.
Also meeting weekly are two prayer ministries. Moms
In Touch gathers to pray for the school-aged
children, their teachers, and administration. Harvest
Prayer Partners is a mid-week gathering that
focuses its prayer efforts specifically on asking
God to make Idyllwild Bible Church and its people
significant participants in His redemptive plans.
Throughout the year
there are numerous
other special events,
that include men’s
and women’s
retreats, a couple’s
retreat, golf tournaments,
the Mother/Daughter
Tea, an annual Living
Nativity presentation,
movie nights, family
barbeques, and much
more! There
is no shortage of
ways to fellowship
and grow at IBC!

CHILDREN’S
MINISTRY
Raising children is
one of life’s most challenging
and rewarding experiences. We cannot, nor would we
wish to replace mom and dad’s role as spiritual
trainer in the home. However, we very much desire to
assist you in this important task.
Through a variety of different ministries we
seek to share biblical truth and the love of Christ
with our children, in a warm and friendly way that
is appropriate for each age level. Sunday School,
mid-week AWANA, VBS, summer
camps, special events, contests, group outings,
and more, are just some of the ways we seek to
reach the hearts of our kids.
We consider our children
to be such an important part of our church family
that we devote financial resources towards them
which permit a part-time staff person to specifically
address their needs. For more information, please
contact our Director of Children’s Ministries,
Lynne Leih, at 951-659-4775.
JR. HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL
No one will argue that our culture brings
tremendous pressures to bear upon today’s
young people. Our Jr. High and High School Ministries
are committed to helping your teen face these
pressures in a biblically relevant and practical
way.
This ministry is under the direction of Jon Miller,
who serves in a full-time capacity. He is assisted
by both men and women who volunteer their time
and gifts to serve our young people.
There is no shortage of ministry activities for
your teens! In addition to Jr. High boys and
girls group meetings mid-week, and High School
meetings mid-week and Sunday evenings, there
is also the Rec-ing Crew ministry Sunday afternoons,
special events, service projects, summer camps,
missions trips, and more.
For more information call Jon, at 951-659-4775.
